Groundhog, Woodchuck, Whistle-Pig; Call it what you like, but we call it an Evil Garden Attackin' Demon! He's eaten all the tops off the okra and most of the peas, and is working on the squash. Yesterday I caught him eating a green tomato.
So not being the poisoning or shooting type, tomorrow I call the trappers.

Will your trappers visit McKinney? We have a whole host of rabbits who have decided that under our deck would be a good place to raise babies...and you know how rabbits are!? They have somehow managed to eat most of my plants on that side of the house. I HATE THEM. :)
Maybe you won't need trappers after all. Apparently just the mention of a trap has sent the demon packing. We have new growth on the garden so I hope this means he's gone for good. I try not to hate anything but this varmit was not bringing out the best in me! I completely understand your feelings for the rabbits.
